Camp Overview
Hazelwood Lodge pony camps have been running every school holidays since December 2002. Students stay in bunk rooms in the house and have 2 lessons/ day Monday - Friday. All meals, lessons, accommodation and pony hire/ agistment for those bringing their own horse is included.
Camp begins on a Sunday evening. Everyone is welcomed, and students participate in an informal meet and greet session.
The whole group is divided into appropriate groups and partnered with one of our school horses, if a student has not brought their own horse at this time.
When students are not riding, they have the opportunity to help with the other day to day tasks on the property, including feeding the chooks, cows and rest of the menagerie on the property. A highlight includes the daily hay run with the tractor.

There is an in-ground pool for supervised cooling off in summer.
All meals are provided at camp, Dietary needs can be catered for with guardian consultations.
